Stocking up for Europe

Posted on February 25th 2008 in My life in Europe, Shopping |

First of all, do you guys like my new layout? It’s so much better than the previous one! Although whoever coded this template did a pretty lousy job on the CSS part. I’ve already spent several hours touching up the style sheet and removing stupid features. Oh my God, did I just admit that I’m a programming geek?

Moving on. I’m getting ready for my next trip to Europe. This time I’m planning on getting my own place instead of staying over at mom’s house. So, since I’m very picky about my decor, I’ve already started shopping for decorating items … here in the States … for a place in Europe I don’t even have yet. Hahaha -I know - nobody does that!

I went to Hobby Lobby, which is basically the only store in the world I could totally live in. I don’t know what was going on, I went to the one in Asheboro, and it’s like the whole store was 50% off.

It’s quite ironic I end up buying French frames in North Carolina lol This one smelled soooo good when I opened it! wtf? I didn’t know Hobby Lobby prints were scented. It will definitely go in my future bedroom, which I’ve already decided will be white, pink & green.

Muguet Frame

The pillow I’m not sure yet. Either in the guest room if I have one (which would be Americana/country style), or in the kitchen area I guess. Wherever it ends up, it will help protect the frame in the massive UPS box I’m about to ship over. I’ll probably have to post several boxes, as I’ve also purchased a whole new wardrobe that covers all 4 seasons and more … which I’m a bit embarassed to post here lol

Pumpkin Pillow

I need to stop shopping, but everything is so cheap in America!! It would be silly to buy the same stuff in Europe, when it costs twice as much there. Anyway, I can’t wait :-) I’ll probably leave around March or April.
